On the subsequent screen, ensure that your device's Bluetooth functionality is activated and grant the application permission to detect nearby devices. Activate the scale and position it close to your phone. The device should manifest on the displayed list:

Select the "Blackcoffee.io" item, and you'll be navigated to a verification page to confirm the scale is functioning properly:

    Creating an account

To access the full range of app features, please start by creating an account. We offer the option to sign in using a password, through Google sign-in, or Apple sign-in (note: Apple sign-in is exclusively available on the iOS version).

    5. Personalized home page

Once you've completed the onboarding process, you'll be directed to the home page. Here, you can view the brew flavor distribution, check out trending guides, see your favorite guides, and review your brewing history.

By tapping on any of the brewing guides, you can dive into the specifics.

Similarly, to revisit the details of your past brews, just click on an entry in your brew history.

    6. Record a new brew

To log a new brew, head over to the "Make Coffee" tab. Here, you'll find all your saved guides. At the page's end, there's a "Make Coffee Now" button. Before you kick off a new brew, ensure your Bluetooth is on and you've connected with the scale.

Tap that button, and you'll be directed to the new brew page. As you begin pouring water, the app will track your brew. After you're done, a summary of your brew will pop up.

    7. Create a brewing guide

To craft a brewing guide, start by picking one from your past brews. On the "Brew Detail" page, you'll spot a "Create a brewing guide" button.

Give it a tap, and you'll land on the guide editing page where you can tweak the brew info. Notably, there's a "Share to public" toggle. If you flip it on, your brewing guide becomes public, allowing other users to reference it for their brew sessions. Once you are done editing, click the "Done" button at the top right corner to publish the guide.

    8. Edit your profile

Head to the "Profile" tab to check out your personal details. Here, you can tweak your profile, confirm your connected device, disconnect the scale, and check out other info.
